The Artful Life Counseling Center and Studio in Salem MA is a unique group practice that provides an accessible, affordable, alternative to traditional mental health counseling through the expressive arts therapies and other holistic interactive modalities. Our trauma-informed therapists specialize in treating the whole person, through a developmental, environmental and sociological lens. And our center offers dynamic classes and workshops that focus more on being immersed in the creative process and less on being "good at art.”

Amazing therapist but terrible office. My sessions were suspended for a $20 copay that wasn’t received within 24 hours. They should have bought a restaurant instead of a mental health facility if they wanted to run a business. Terrible experience
Emily Kyte medically abandoned me during the worst time of my life. When I needed her most she just disappeared and blamed me for not “communicating my needs properly.” She said she was transferring my treatment, but when I called the new therapist she said she didn’t take my insurance and had told emily a month ago. Lifestance made excuses and when I brought up medical malpractice I finally heard back from her. In the end it was all lies, gaslighting and oops. Emily, clearly you must be very mentally ill yourself to treat a long time patient like that so casually.
